Our strategy for quality
For SCHMID, a comprehensive quality strategy is the only possible basis for realising customer-orientated and successful products in the long-term. Quality can be measured and compared and forms the foundation of all innovations. Our strategy is based on process quality, product quality and quality relationships.
Process quality = input
In our own technology centres we evaluate and optimise production processes in scientific tests which take place under real production conditions. Our high-level engagement in research and development guarantees the innovations which make us the technological market leader.
Product quality = output
SAP is the basis of our business infrastructure at all production locations. We attach great importance to globally networked corporate and production processes and have been ISO 9001 certified since 1995. This high-level network provides transparency and direct access to product data models and ensures our constantly high quality standard, both in Europe and in Asia.
Quality relationships = effect
Our relationship to customers is based on close cooperation and partnership. As a partner we include our customers in our research work, offer them organisational and practical support with project management and customer service and ensure the technology transfer in training courses. Our support does not end with delivery of the machine.
