An etching mask is applied to the copper surface with the aid of digital inkjet technology, using a special ink. The etching mask can be easily removed after the etching process. The direct application of the mask makes further processing steps of conventional PCB production methods superfluous. The low-priced ink helps to reduce the costs considerably.
